These are serpentine armbands. They represent two triton - a son of Poseidon, represented as having the head and trunk of a man and the tail of a fish. A male and a female. They are each holding a small winged Eros - a winged figure of a child representing love or the power of love. The hoops behind their heads are so they can be attached to the sleeves of a garment/ shirt.

Right now Greece is in an economic crisis. People are angered by huge tax hikes and drastic spending cuts. Greece there is a big bailout package in the works because economists warn that if Greece is not helped, it could drag down the entire European Union. It would threaten the already-fragile economies of Portugal, Spain and even Italy.Some people are afraid that there might be a domino effect and it will effect not only Europe but the United States
